Workshop on ADHD

Workshop by Dr. Rebecca Dogan

Many of our members were interested in a workshop about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Dr. Dogan kindly provided a workshop on the topic for a group of eager learners. Characteristics and available treatments were discussed. Many group members work with individuals with autism and the topic of stereotypy, a repetitive ritualistic behavior, arose. Strategies on dealing with stereotypy (A.K.A. "stimming") were explored.

After conducting a survey and evaluated that many of our members were interested in a workshop about the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dr. Dogan kindly provided a workshop on the topic for a group of eager learners. She talked about the characteristics, available treatments, and shared some case studies of ADHD. We really appreciate her professionalism and had an informative night together!
